That doesn’t mean to fear your partner, but to esteem him or her.

When you respect your partner, you don’t ridicule him/her, neither in public, nor at home.

When you respect your partner, you don’t scold him/her like a naughty child.

When you respect your partner, you create the foundation of a happy marriage.
